From what I read the Artemis would play faster. Haven't tried the Diamond Blacks, but I love how the Artemis plays on my Diamond Pro Am
Thanks for your opinions guys, but I am going with the Diamond blacks for now. I talked to Paul at Diamond and about both cushions and for me the Diamond cushions will work just fine and save me 200 over the Artemis.
Have any of you heard of Klematch? By far the best rail rubbber on the market. Lasts over 20 years. I think it used to be called Kleber. The only negative is that they are over $300.00/set.

Tested them on a Diamond 9 ft Professional, and decided to stay with the Artemis cushions instead of making a change. Overall opinion of all those that played on the table was that they didn't care for how dense the cushions were, which eliminated some of the bank shots they were use to being able to make. And the only reason Diamond don't use the Artemis cushions on their smaller tables is because of cost, not because they play faster than the Diamond K55 black cushions
