Thanks Joe, but that is not likely !..Dr.Bill is very good at what he does, and I would only get in his way !..I maybe could crack a few jokes, but my attention span is down to about 8 seconds !..I was never very big on 'sweating' pool matches, even when I had $$$$ involved !..So, in spite of his limited knowledge of the game, CJ would probably do a better job than me ! ..(assuming Dr. Bill could get in a word edgewise
)PS..I wish someone could find the post that Spider Web and Watchez, gave me the "Post of the Year" award for !..Its overdue for a replay, and it would really clarify my thoughts on the subject !

Sorry, sounded a little bit like a cop out to me. How can anyone learn from a post with NOT one piece of 1P knowledge given out?? Either he has no talent to teach, and that is not a knock, its not for everyone, or he is afraid of getting picked apart by 1P experts based on his advice, or he just does not care to help.
Somebody taught Efren, and yes, he also learned from playing. But having both has GOT to be better than just getting your teeth kicked in time and time again. That's kinda old school mentality that does not work today.
So, don't knock my opinion, prove me wrong. He can post here and the advice is great, and it would be win/win for the members, correct? The fact he does not believe it will help anyone has no bearing on the matter, because everyone knows whatever you learn is better than not ever learning it. I can promise you I will NOT knock even one syllable if he posts any info here at all on the game of 1P.
I just think he is wrong to say nobody can learn from another 1P person. I've picked up tons of tips on 1P.org, sometimes I don't always remember them, but the ones I do, certainly helped. I've picked up tons playing with one pocket players, but they would stop me on the wrong shot so I could see what the right shot was. Not to mention a few good books on strategy and showing you certain shots you really should be able to execute playing 1P.

As to your comments here, you seem like someone who has only recently picked up the game. My experience has been that One Pocket neophytes always know more than anyone else.

And I NEVER uttered one word that I know more about 1P than anyone else, not one word. Never said I played it well, or bad, because the post was not about me. I just like the game, playing or watching.
So, Einstein, point me to the part where I think I know more than anyone else in 1P? Oh, that's right, it's not there. yeah, I re-read the post twice, and it said nothing other than he has no ability to teach someone the game of 1P. Bravo, what a great piece of knowledge we can all learn from....I'm sure someone on here just went up a ball after reading that one
