toam blue vs green

Pool Fools still drinking Toam Cool Aid?
Not sure what is so hard to understand. People like me who use Taom don't use it because it's the best chalk available or we drink Finnish Kool-Aid. I use Taom or Kamui Roku because my hands and table stay a lot cleaner.

Lasts a lot longer than Masters, too, so the cost doesn't bother me. I've been using the same piece of chalk for a year and a half.

If you are happy with other chalks, great. I think all chalks play pretty much the same. But it's not performance that I am after.

I simply cannot resist replying to chalk threads.

I used Pyro (blue) on green Simonis 860. Any chalk marks were faint. V10 on same cloth, barely noticable. Cleans easily with Simonis X1 (another controversial product) and my cloth has never seen a drop of water or soap in nearly 6 years of home use.

I’ve been using the same piece of V10 for a couple years at least. And I’m probably chalking more than I need to.

If I miscue once in 1000 strokes it’s because of MY poor cue delivery, it’s not the chalk.

Could I use something other than Taom? Absolutely
