I just picked up my new Cuesmith Deluxe from UPS and I am headed to the shop to set it up. I want to thank Chris for answering all my lame brained questions and his professionalism!

Congrats!

I remember when I got my Mid-Size years ago. I was like a kid on Christmas morning:grin:

You've got a great piece of equipment to start on. Best of luck!

Yep $10,000 just left his wallet and he dosen't even know it yet. Not the worst way to spends ones money.

Maybe not, as he already has another brand lathe and other equipment. He is not a newbie.

Thanks again Chris

I am a newbie so to speak for building cues. But I do ALOT and I mean ALOT of events for repair. In fact last year I was booked every weekend from the first weekend in January thru the first weekend in May in four different states. 17 weekends in a row. I don't know how many repair technicians did that. So the lathe is a second operational lathe for my larger events or a double booking of which I have 2 this season. I just need something to keep me busy in the summer months and whittlin' on wood seems like the way to go. I am sure I will have plenty of more questions of Chris Also I have alot of friends that want a cue...lol. Whatever you do in life, do what you enjoy. This lathe will not interfere with my committment to catch alot of walleyes!

You might be surprised how much the cue building bug could hinder you from fishing. :)
But then again you will be having fun either way.
