Todays Q'r at ABC/NYC

There are 6 players going back tomorrow to finish it out. I finished my last match at 11:30pm so playing the whole thing out was impossible.

Winner's Side:

Jonathan Smith vs. Jimmy Gottier (one player guaranteed to qualify of course)

One-Loss Side:

Marc Vidal vs. Joey Kong
Chris Lynch vs. Shin Park

I'll post the results sometime tomorrow.

Best of luck to you, Chris! Take it down!

Thank you sir. May have to stop down there today.

Shin Park playing straight pool might be quite interesting.

It is. He has some very creative safety play but often overlooks the traditional safeties. He's definitely doesn't play 14.1 regularly. Makes a lot of balls though.

Some updates from the qualifier.

Jonathan Smith is in the finals with the win over Jim Gottier. Jon ran an 83 during the match and really played well.

The One-Loss side finals is between Marc Vidal and Jimmy Gottier. I played a rather poor match against Marc and lost 125-119. I did manage to get past Shin Park though.

Anyway, I really hope that Jimmy pulls it out and I'm happy for Jonathan that he qualified. I'll post the results when I can.

Thanks for the updates, Chris. Congratulations due to both Jon Smith and Jim Gottier for qualifying.

I couldn't be happier for Jon and Jim, two fine players and two guys that love the game of pool the way I do. Well played, gentlemen.
