>>> FS: Toeboy Titlist Conversion (very dark rosewood) <<<
This is a **real nice** example of a Toeboy Titlist conversion (William Rikard out of Houston, TX)....5/16-14 piloted ss joint. Dark dark rosewood points and butt sleeve. Full splice construction was retained all the way back under the wrap. There is a thin ring at the butt, looks like pearlized acrylic.
Finish is pretty much pristine on the butt. Shafts both show some evidence of play but have been cleaned up nicely. So, it makes me think the cue was refinished at some point. My friend Bill has no knowledge of a refinish and has owned it for a few years. So the cue is as he got it in a trade. Both shafts appear to have the older white micarta ferrules. One tip looks to be an original Moori. The other shaft's tip is layered, but I'm not sure which brand....maybe a Hercules.
The butt and shafts are all super straight. One shaft rolls pretty much dead straight on the cue. The other shaft has a tiny, tiny amount of wobble....you don't notice anything at all when rolling the assembled cue on the playing surface, but when it's rolled with the tip end over the edge of a pool table rail, you see a very tiny amount of flutter at the tip end. A really super-straight older cue, imo....better than most brand new cues, lol.
SPECS:
Standard length cue 58" (29"/29")
Butt is 15.9oz
Shaft 1 is 3.6oz and 12.55mm
Shaft 2 is 4.0oz and 12.65mm
__________________________________________________
Total weight is 19.5 or 19.9, depending on which shaft.
I checked and the butt does have a weight bolt, a rather long one that weighs 1.3oz, so reducing weight would be easily accomplished, if needed.
SOLD
Check or money order preferred. Paypal is ok if you have a solid history on here and are verified with a confirmed address (no exceptions) but I will need to add the 3% fee. No overseas paypal, unless I know you personally. Worldwide/overseas customers are welcome, but please inquire for a shipping estimate.
Selling for a friend....no trade offers please.
As always, your satisfaction is guaranteed or immediately return the item for your money back less shipping/fees....simple as that.
If interested or you have any questions, please send me a PM.
Thanks for looking.
