Oh, shoot, too late to change that.
What I meant to say was Tom Mcgonagle is a columnist. :grin-square:
Tom came by for a visit at my house today and we were talking some about our respective paths into and around pool. Turns out Tom has written a number of pool related columns, all of which sounded really interesting and funny. He brought me a copy of his book, "Right On Cue" that I'm looking forward to reading.
We went down to the dungeon for a while and Tom worked with me on my game and, in particular, my break. Implementing Tom's suggestions will take a little getting used to - it was like a war zone down there for a little while. A few close calls and one shattered-glass casualty. Did I mention, I don't break softly.
And, by the way, Mr. Mcgonagle definitely has game. I can confirm that it wasn't a fluke that he won the recent BCA National 8-ball Seniors division in Vegas. And three previous New England 9-ball championships.
It was real pleasure meeting and getting a chance to hit some balls with him.
Best,
Brian kc
