Yes, I have some good news for Tony 'Fargo' Ferguson regarding the Bank Pool Hall of Fame, but I do not have his contact info. If anyone can help, you can PM me here or Contact Me through OnePocket.org.

Thanks!

Thanks for your help. Well I just got off the phone with Tony. He's real psych'd about going in to the Bank Pool HOF. All this time thinking I had no way to contact him and just for the heck of it I looked in my own cell phone, and there was his home number, which I forgot I had ... go figure

Make sure you tell Tony to get out and play. He is always in action and there is no one more that I would like to watch play banks than him.

watched him play once and the guy was unlbelievale. he fires in those banks! congrats

Congrats to Tony. It is deserved after being one of the legendary bank players for so long.

Legends are not often recognized in pool, sad to say. Many of them are what I refer to as "unsung heroes," those who used to give it their all on a field of green. There are MANY of these players. Larry Lisciotti is one player who used to bring a lot of laughter and entertainment to the crowds, and he was a great straight pool player. Young folks only know of him when his name is mentioned, but they don't know the real Larry Lisciotti, the Prince of Pool. There is no pool archives to commemorate players like Larry.

Tony doesn't just fire them in - he archs them in and can send his cueball where ever he needs to play shape. It truly is unbelievable to watch.

So True

I didn't know Larry, and don't recall watching him play.{But probably seen him somewhere down the road} Players like Keith, Buddy, Grady, and so many others, have earned their status as LEGENDS, {the caps clarify how big they are}. But a lot of more unknown players, like Larry, brought a lot of life to this game. Peru Paul Bowman, from here in Indiana, was an Indiana legend. From the time I started going to tournaments around the State, I heard his name. The 3rd tourney I went to in Indianapolis, he came over and asked to warm up with me. We later became friends. Everyone who knew paul, had story's about him. He was subject to beat any living human at 9 ball.
Maybe someone should go thru all the threads on here and One Pocket.org, and write a book of stories about the legends and unknown legends of our sport.
