Mickey's pretty much correct, except that last year I didn't make it to the Expo at all. I had a friend take the donation cue.
I have several cues to deliver this year at the show. I have a couple in the works to to sell there as well, but not sure at what price range they will end up. I won't have very many that aren't spoken for with me, I am sure of that. What I do have will be with Jamie (New2You Cues) and Kenny (FourKingCues). I won't have anything that I'm walking around trying to sell. Last time I attended, I had one cue for each of these guys and both sold very quick.
My plan was to take 12 orders every January 1st with delivery in 12-18 months. This year, that filled up in an hour or two. A few people never followed through, so I took a few more orders until I was full. I ended up taking a few more later in the year because I was getting pretty caught up. Since then, I've slowed down a bit because it's been difficult with the kids around all day (even though we have people supposedly watching them).
I've considered not taking any orders on January 1st this year. I'm not sure what I'm going to do at this point. If I do, it will probably be 18-24 months instead of 12-18 months on the orders.
I will take orders for something relatively simple at pretty much any time though. If you want something complex, you'll have to wait until I take another batch of orders.
I currently have one cue available to sell. It could be several months before I have anything else not spoken for.
