Tony Zinzola or Mike Lambros

i do know that tony's either first cue or main player back in the day was a lambros. so he definitely holds him in high regard.

i've never played with a lambros, but from what i've heard they hit great.

if you get a chance, you should snatch up a zinzola. i know there is one currently one on the for sale section.

Can't compare since I've never seen nor tried a Zinzola, but I can wholeheartedly recommend Lambros. I get to try many cues being an instructor, plus I've owned several of the most famous cue makers' cues, and I'm as enthusiastic about my Lambros (put pics in the "Lambros photos" thread) as one can be. And he's a charm to deal with.

Greetings from Switzerland, David.

I also can't compare because I've not owned a Zinzola but I like his taste in builds and he sure does make a gorgeous cue. Also, I think it's really a great idea that he numbers and documents every cue he builds. As far as today's cue makers I think his cues are going to be Highly sought after in years to come. Just my opinion.
That being said, I'm about as big of a Lambros fan as your going to meet. Playability wise I have NEVER heard someone say that they didn't like one of Mikes cues. Not once. I've played with one for 10 plus years and I just can't lay it down. Resale on them is very good. Quality is very good, and I love the look of the long points. I've not tried his new LD shaft but heard good things....I'm just not a LD shaft kinda guy.
Either way I think your looking at 2 very fine cue makers. I'd go with the Lambros but like I said....I'm a big fan so yes, my opinion is biased.
