Tooled Custom Case by Yang :: Hyakki Series No. 0

I'm posting this thread for my friend Yang from Armor Case. He tried doing this last week but photo links were broken.

This is a March 2013 custom piece and here's what he has to say about it:

"This is the first case of the Hyakki series. I will make only one case of this series every year for twelve years. There are 9 ghosts on each case, and a total of 108.
Numbered 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and End. In accordance with the eastern thought - Begins with nothing, Ends with nothing. "

Absolutely INSANE work. There is no question in my mind that Armor is in the top three of cue case makers in the world. Not only the near flawless construction but the nearly flawless tooling and coloring and flow combines to make these cases particularly awesome.

This is traditional leather crafting at it's highest form.

Can you tell us more about Mr. Yang and Armor cases?

Hmmm....what do you want to know? I'll try to answer what I know.

Many have PMed me asking for price and wanting to buy one of his cases and even the one I posted.
This case is sold and so is the planned one for 2014.

He is currently not taking any orders as all his spots for this year have been accounted for since last year.
He might take orders again end of this year or early next year.

So far he has not and is not taking orders from out of China. All his orders have been for the Chinese market. That said he does have plans to sell on AZ or overseas next year however nothing is concrete at the moment.

As for pricing, his tooled cases are generally about $1100 - $1800 shipped domestically in China.
