Top bettors in the PIT.... of VF

hm....

"that kid is turning into a real degenerate gambler, we are all so proud of him..."---- I think he flipped his first coin that weekend, and that made ME proud....

As for the other post about the missing money... I do know they were playing boston, there is no question the money got lifted, but i guess my question for that situation is... WHO PUTS 15K under a pool table??... money like that you give to the owner! but i suppose props to WHOEVER lifted it without being seen because i would think you would have to crouch pretty low to get under there...

anywho, its over and i dont want to spark that conversation again... ugh...

"Red", the tall, skinny kid, was 18 year old Sean. There were a whole bunch of guys from our area down there that weekend and every one of them said the exact same thing!

"That 18 year old kid is turning into one real degenrate gambler!!!" :D

Needless to say, we were all so very proud!

Sean is no stranger to gambling.

In fact, I remember one night, he went outside to get some air with another kid. They were both 17 at the time. And the other kid was one helluva shooter. Also addicted to gambling. By the time they came back in, Sean was the proud new owner of the other kid's Andy Gilbert cue. The result of flipping quarters in the parking lot!!!

hey kiddo1 why weren't u at the blaze tourney this past weekend? it was in Long Island? i will definitely be seeing you in august, i call heads for $100...

where is he from, it says your are from jersey? where in jersey?

I live way up north (Bergen County) on the border of New York. In fact, Sean lives about five minutes away from me. He's in New York and I'm in New Jersey.

We play mainly at places.
One- Diamond Jim's (Nanuet, NY)
Two- Orangetown Billiards (Orangeburg, NY)

In fact, this weekend we'll be partners in a Scotch Doubles tourney at Amsterdam.

well april 9th ill be at rockaway billiards, which i thought was pretty north up there for the blaze tournament, maybe ill see ya there!

I had a lot of fun watching the action. By the way, JAM, thank for for saving a seat for me.:)

Here is a picture of this amazing Asian lady, with John Morra, and a few others in the pit.

After watching the action for a few hours, I could hear "$40 for the breaker..." in my sleep.

Gold star goes out to who can name the most Pit attendees in your picture, Richard. I think I can recognize six or seven of them, even the arm of one player because of the color of his jacket. :D

Sparky played Luc a dollar a game 10ball.

Then we raised the bet, Two dollors a game(even)

The rest of the chips were won by Spark-ster running tables while I woofed up

all bets. For the record, Ryan was on our team, he bet with us, Sparky did not

play him.

Unfortunately the pit action was alittle slow this year, although still entertaining, for example Tony (T-Rex) Chohan and Shannon Daulton showing up, might we say will the beer muscles in full flex, the inebriated young lady betting it up with any and all, and Sparky displaying how the action is supposed to be, as well as Ronnie Wiseman showing some bartable prowess, I guess they have to be considered our saviors this year. It's always entertaining in Valley Forge, no matter who happens to step up.

Melissa, you might have to become our offical list keeper, kudos!

The young man, with the red and black wardrobe, although right in the mix of things might want to consider bringing a cue with him next time, (I don't think I have ever witnessed someone borrow a cue more than this kid did). He certainly was enjoying himself.

All and all, I've been to everyone of the previous Expo's and as always I truly enjoy the "PIT" action, you never know what might happen next, or who may become the next action star.

Thanks to all the usual participants, Ryan McCreesh, Joe Cutler, Tony "Where's the Money" Ruberto, (sorry i couldn't help myself), Keith McCreedy, Jason Kirkwood, Dom Souza, Shane ?, and a number of others who jump in to keep the action entertain going.

See ya all somewhere, sometime!
Jim

well someone needs to keep that list running it seems congruent across the board that pool players are not the most organized...

there were definitely some entertaining events this year in the pit, but it always seems to be the usual suspects that make that event what it is...

ill be there every year with bells on with the usual suspects flipping coins and fed-exing the money!
