Top Grade Woods for sale

Several of your BEM dowels look absolutely stunning and as good as it gets. They will make cues with the "wow" factor. I am assuming, of course, that they are figured on both side of the piece. I don't think many end users appreciate just how difficult it is to acquire top-grade super-figured birdseye maple and hard curly. 4A or better bird or hard curl is very rare. I love the variation within birdseye from small to large eye. Today I am making my way back downstate in Michigan. This state is incredibly scenic. I've looked at lots of maple on this trip and picked up some prized pieces too. In an hour or so, I'm making a stop at Barn Door Lumber outside of Saginaw to see if they have anything worthhile.

Hi Martin,

yes you are absolutely right. I took us very long to find this supplier and we are glad that we have this source now.... The maple is indeed figured on both sides and sometime almost symetrically around the whole piece.
We sure will make some super nice birdseye cues from the pieces we keep in stock ;-)

I just wondering if that is macassar ( asian striped ebony) it's look like a sonokeling wood fr Indonesia not quite as hard and heavy as ebony I recond? I might be wrong :confused:

Ray,
the first one was sent with DHL without a tracking number. This is the cheapeast way. I don't think its lost becouse it can take as long as 4 weeks to be delivered (Its a service similar to send stuff US Postal Services in the US).

Nevertheless you will get another one. This time with DHL tracking service.
