Top Notch Point/veneer Work....guess Who????

Sharp, clean work. Do you consider this 7 or 4 veneers?

I'D HAVE TO SAY THAT IT'S 7, EVEN THOUGH I CONSIDER IT 4. A "VENEER" BY DEFINITION IS..... "In woodworking, veneer refers to thin slices of wood, usually thinner than 3 mm (1/8 inch), that are typically glued onto core panels"

SO, I'D HAVE TO SAY THAT THE PAPERS DON'T COUNT, BECAUSE THE DEFINITION SAYS THIN SLICES OF WOOD, AND ALTHOUGH PAPER IS MADE FROM WOOD, IT'S NOT REALLY WOOD.

7 OR 4.....EITHER WAY, IT'S BAD ASS.

i don't know who made this but the list of those capable of executing at this level is short

AGREED.... SHORTER LIST THAN MOST PEOPLE THINK.

i saw a 6 veneer Showman, I knew it wasnt a Showman because of the ring above the wrap, I didnt know who made it but there is no doubt its TOP TOP TOP point work for sure. WOW, the cue makers sure are comming with some strong stuff now days.

There is a big gap between "old school" and "new school"; and that gap is gettting wider and wider. I dont believe it will have any effect on prices of either its nice to see the new stuff and appericate the old stuff(I'm old school).
