I'm flying into Toronto island today, probably spending the night downtown.
If anyone wants some 1P lessons/action or maybe school me tonight let me know.
Last time no one answered me in the Canadian section

Or Chicken's buddy Randallt6. He's in the Toronto area, although I'd give you 10:1 he won't play you any one pocket. lol

If it was me, I'd just head straight to the 'corner bank' and there will be people to match up with.

FYI - I hope all is well kickin'

Apparently, he's in some small 9-ball action.

I'm waiting to hear how he got all the way down to posting his rolex and airplane propeller; then made it back to +$700 winner and bought the whole joint a beer and flew out of town with a fond memory.

what about it jtom?

You may have us mixed up with Montreal, which is indeed an island.

Congratulations on the new tunnel to the TORONTO ISLAND AIRPORT

Many moons ago (1988 or so) I lived on Queens Quay in Toronto, perhaps 6 blocks from the airport. I sold large scale computer networks and had a customer on the 104th floor of the World Trade Center in Manhattan. On the days when I went to see them I would leave my condo about 6:45 AM, walk to the TORONTO ISLAND AIRPORT ferry, sail the 30 yards to the ISLAND AIRPORT, fly to Newark, taxi to the WTC and meet my customer by 9:00 ish. I'd fly back late afternoon and walk into my condo before 7:00 PM. Those were good days.

<edit ... lol .... dating myself calling the Billy Bishop Airport the Toronto Island Airport :sorry:>

Montreal, Toronto. What's the difference to a pilot?

JoeyA

About 314 miles as the crow or plane flies.
But the biggest difference?
Your passengers might be upset when they think they're flying to Toronto....
....and they're greeted with " Comment ca va?"

But BRussell is correct in that J had to land at the Billy Bishop airport, which is on an
island in Lake Ontario.
....it caters to smaller planes which tend not be jet propelled....
....so props to them both....

Glad to see you made it and found some action.

What was your impression of the room?

Gideon<----Can spell 9 ball, but can't play

Very nice room with Diamond tables, except for snooker. Everyone was very friendly.
Not sure why a killer 9 ball player needed a nice friendly woman friend to set up a match. Next visit will be the Corner Bank
