Torque Spec's

Hi Folks,

Anyone know if there are published torque spec's for the rail bolts on a Brunswick Gold Crown? We have a converted 5 x 10 billiard table. After re-clothing the table, some players commented the rails made a "thonk" sound when struck. I got under the table and got a quarter turn from each rail bolt. When are they correctly done? Thanks for your input.

No printed spec's, but 12ftlbs will do the job just right:D

I was doing a Gold Crown about five years ago and talked to Brunswick about there hard rubber and i asked them what to torque the rail bolts at and they said 12 to 15 foot pounds. I have torqued them at 15 foot pounds, every since then.
Thanks, Ron
