Tournament bracket software

Hello everyone and a special hello to azbilliards.com regulars.

I was looking on what software is available for helping one to display and update through the process of a tournament.

So far, I've only discovered Brackelope: Tournament Builder which unfortunately despite being free it runs only on iPhone, iPad.

Is there an interest to form a workgroup that will develop an open-source solution for all the platforms (Windows, Linux, Android, iPhone, ..) that will also allow one to showcase a tournament's progress?

Does anyone happen to know any other solution on this matter?

I think Ingen Pool works very well. It is used by a lot of tournamnet people around here, including Snookers in Providence, RI.

They have awesome software. One of the founders wrote the software. It does the draw, tells what matches are waiting for tables, and what matches are waiting for matches. It is windows based. It even pages players through text messaging when there matches are called.

They use external monitors for players to see their bracket, plus it's all the charts are available 'real time' through their website.

Not sure if they are interested in 'licensing' their stuff, but you never know...
