Tournaments in Levels

Why not run an "open" and a "handicapped" at the the same time with a Calcutta and let the players decide? Winnings based on number of participants. This would be one way to find out what works.

Tables could be scheduled based onthe numbers of players in each tournament. Now one can play in and watch their preferred type of tournament.

Becasue both wold be played at the same time you would have to pick one to play in.

(insert 4 rythmic scratching sounds made by exhaling through saliva):D I'd like to meet the guy that tries that one! Last month I had 42 players going in my monthly, 16 women playing in their event and an 8 man mini going all at the same time. I needed a drink( or 2) after that one!

Bigtruck,

I dunno. I thought it up while reading the opinions about events. I am just a player. I hope the league I play in, I posted it on their site too, considers it. If it works and rejuvenates pool tournaments around here I will be happy.
