Tournaments near Venice FL.

I have an in law that spends winters in Venice. Does anyone know somewhere nearby that has weekly tournaments?

going back about 20 years there was one in a small plaza on 41 called first draft choice, then one in Nokomis called corvettes, these were on bar box tables. then in port charelott there was a small place with 9 foot gold crowns, I forget the name of that place tho. I'm not sure if any of these places still exist.
 
When I go to Venice I drive about an hour south to Diamonds, I think it is in Cape Coral. There might be some pool rooms in Sarasota but not sure if Livingstons is still open or not.
 
My parents have a winter house in Venice we go visit every year. Livingston's in Bradenton is the closest room. They have quite a few 9 footers and is a pretty decent room.

As was already mentioned, Diamonds in Cape Coral. If you play decent one pocket, you can make some pretty decent money there. Lots of retired, wealthy guys that love to play and don't care about the money. It is a fun place to gamble and the guys that hang out there are nice as can be.
