Does anyone know of good tournaments this month? Say this weekend, the 14th-15th would be nice? Something that will pay at least $1000 for 1st.

Can add tourns for next month as well if you like.

Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Louisiana..

I looked in the tournament section but didn't find anything. Too bad the upgrade of the forum didn't add a search by date to the tourn section. Would make it so much easier.

The only 2 tournaments that I know running that fit your criteria aren't taking place within the area you specified. One is a GSBT event and the other is a Fast Eddies Event. Both will be paying out minimum $1000 for 1st. Hope you have luck finding a tournament to play in.

I don't know if you are wanting to drive to Knoxville but Janis is having a AM advanced tourney this Sat. and an AM on Sun. They usually draw a good field here, the last 2 events have had over 70 and I think it pays 1k for 1st.

Found one in Gainesville I may go to. Is there any good action usually at this event?
 
Go West my friend. Depending on the amount of players, the Desert Classic Tour (DCT) usually pays over $1K for first if you opt to get in the sidepots.

The 2nd stop of the Desert Classic Tour (DCT) will be held on March 21/22 in Phoenix, Arizona. You can get the info at http://desertclassictour.com (new site still under construction but operational) or PM me if you need any info. Good luck in the other tourneys.

Yeah, there are gonna be some guys there that would match up with you. My buddy Russ bets good and won't ask for the world either, probably the 8 or the last 2.

Get on a plane and goto www.superbilliardsexpo.com and play in the amateur events. You'll have a good time. :wink: It's only four days but LOTS of different amateur events or so i'm told.

Tony Crosby has a tourney in new port richey at TJs just outside of tampa.
There is a open and a amateur tourney, you might want to ask tony if you can play in the amateur
