Tourney Buy Back?

I have been running small dbl elim pool tournaments for many years but I have never allowed a buy back into the tourney. Can anyone describe the process of a buy back? Where in the bracket do you insert the player buying his way back into the tourney? Any help with this is very much appreciated.

The DCC is the only buyback tourney I've played in, so my experience is limited. They don't use "brackets" per se - instead, they re-draw after each round. This resolves the issue of finding a place to insert buybacks into a bracket, but the downside is that it makes it possible for a player to draw the person they played in the previous round. And the other obvious downside for the TD, which is just the number of draws that must occur.
