Nope, Mike is still in Bradenton FL spending allot of his time on his small sailing yacht. His did not pop up, plus if was in FL for that many years it would be pure rust by now. He also does not have anything to do with pool anymore.

It went to Derby city once and FL twice in the past 3 years. I'm only getting rid of it because I will then by my daughter a car for graduation, its ready to roll.

Mike Ives...helluva writer he is. I remember the tournament on the east coast of Florida in the mid 80's when I first met Mike, he had the Gortons of Glouster yellow rain slicker on when he walked thru the door. A comical guy with a great deal of knowledge of pool and loves the ocean. He was the original Michael Jordan tounge wagger...on his final stroke, Mike would unravle his tounge and hung it out til the shot was over...too funny. Glad to hear he is still around.
