TRACKING PACKAGE from CANADA

Hi,

A seller who lives in Port Coquitlam, B.C. (CANADA) mailed a package to me on 4-27. Tracking shows it was accepted by the local post office and shipped to/recvd in USA 4-29.

Shipped via "expediated" service.

Any idea how long it may take to get to TN.?

Is there any way to track progress (i have the TRK'
G #) now that it's in this country?

Usually, tracking stops at the border...only shows that it entered the US, at least until it is received. I would think you would receive it Monday/Tuesday if it is not held up in customs...any ivory in it?

Is it through usps,ups,etc? Usps should be 3-5 business days from the time it enters the states, and gets through customs.

I live in Abbotsford, about 20 minutes east of Port Coquitlam and have sent a ton of packages to the States through Canada Post Xpresspost and Expedited services. The normal delivery time for Expedited service is 6-10 business days to most points in the continental U.S. As for tracking, once it crosses the border, I believe the only updates will be when it is processed at the recipient's local Post Office and when it is successfully delivered. I also believe the tracking number can be used on www.usps.com or www.canadapost.ca. Hope this helps.

This is accurate. 6-10 business days is typical, though it can occasionally run longer.

Seller should have used XPresspost which is 3-5 days and has better tracking. As always a few extra dollars for shipping saves untold stress later on for all involved.
