if he wanted to make sure the cash got deposited into his account before he shipped the cue he should have just come out and said it.

but depending on how and when he shipped it it might work out in your favor that he waited. i always prefer things to be shipped to me on mondays so it doesn't sit in storage (under something heavy)
 
Tony.....you gotta relax here. In my opinion, your issues did not warrant a public thread on the topic. Threads like these raises a red flag on some poor sod....when a yellow flag would have sufficed.

So, the guy shipped out the cue 6 days later than promised....that's not a big deal. It's actually only 3 to 4 business days late.....but who's counting?

A bigger issue would have been some guy raising the price on a jump cue AFTER a deal has already been made and agreed upon....but because the seller later found someone willing to buy at a higher price....he decides to raise the price on the deal. Happened to me recently, but I didn't start a thread on it. I chalked it off as a yellow flag and moved on in life.

Maybe you should too.....

Hey Donald,
I will do that, I just do not like the fact that he did something wrong and is getting away with murder. If I did not call to ask about the cue I doubt I would get a call from him anyways. He told me specifically that the cue would ship the next day and since I am travelling overseas I would need the cue asap. Yes it is a big deal for me, I am just wondering what kind of condition is the cue going to be when I come back in 2 weeks, the temperature today will be 110 believe it or not. So, it is a big deal to me like it was for the guy to call him up and email him, etc as soon as the money was sent to his PayPal account.
 
Getting away with murder??? WTF dude. Can't you just let it go? You're digging a hole and it's getting deeper. You're getting the kind of comments that you deserve. All you had to do was shut up.

First of all, I DONT KNOW HIM! Second, As I stated I on my previous post I agree to you of him being dishonest, but you should understand that with all the crazy scams happening here on AZ this Guy/Azmember just wanted to make sure that he dont become part of it.

See poolplayer2093's post. The other guy is wrong for not explaining you his decision, then you added another mistake by jumping the gun on him.

I wouldn't buy a cue right before going overseas!!!!!!!!!!!! Because Things do
Go wrong in shipping! I've paid for overnight shipping. And the cue got here 2
weeks later.
 
No it's not done. A simple post in the transaction sticky would have been just fine: "Cue arrived but was 6 days late. Deal with this person at your own risk".

Seems to me Bestkites decided he doesn't want the cue and is possibly trying to get a refund by building up tension before the cue arrives so he can send it back and feel justified.

Cbaumann: You're new and shit happens. Now you know.
Bestkites: Take a Oxycontin and go hit some balls.

In all reality the cue is not 6 days late. it is 3 tops. He paid on the 2nd. The 3rd was Thurs. Fri. was a holiday. If he shipped the cue on the 3rd he would have probably recieved it on the 7th or 8th. The cue was shipped on the 8th and he will get it on the 10th or 11th.

IMO Cbaumann seems like an honest guy and bestkites seems impatient.

bestkites: comparing this situation with getting away with murder is just fantastical and rediculous.

I will now do my best to let this thread die.

I was out of town and just read this thread. I find it amazing Tony that you are throwing this guy under the bus for Lying. YOU AGREED TO SEND ME A CUE OUT AT THE SAME TIME THAT I DID? You then mailed the cue 2 hours after signing for the delivery of my cue to you(4 days later). You left me positive feedback. The next day you wanted me to give you 125 for a new shaft. When I disagreed you wanted me to have the whole cue re-finished. I am not the only person to have a similar dealing with you. You are not an asset to AZ!!!

I will take the cue if arrives in good condition, end of conversation.

Don't start. You have plenty of bad rep and you sent me a cue completelly banged up and I have witnesses, remember? Shafts warped, cue all dinged up, etc, etc and I used a company to monitor the cue shape and they agreed with me. I had to end up paying for a completelly refinish. Also, Schon has this on record, so... If I was you I would go back to where you came from and stay quiet for a long time.

Excuse me I don't have any bad rep!! For those interested I can give the name of a very fine cuemaker that can shed light on Tony and his tactics. Perhaps he should be the one to back to Europe where he came from

So you got the cue he sent you. Looked at it then went and mailed him the cue you were supposed to mail 4 days earlier then went back and complained to him about the condition of the cue he sent you?

The bad cue is not the point here....

Sounds like somebody "lied" about shipping the cue when he was supposed to.....
