Triangle tip questiom

Hi have some of you noticed some triangle tips are light brown in color (like moori) while some are dark brown/black in color (like le pro)
 
I have never seen a light brown Triangle tip. Granted I've only seen about 200 over the years so things may have changed from the 4 boxes I've had.

I install my own tips and buy boxes of Triangles at a time. I know what you're talking about and i think it is just a slight inconsistency. I bite down on mine before I install it and if it feels softer, I discard it or compress it for later use. I say Triangles are just as good as any other layered tip. After they compress down, they have such a solid feel. This is something I've been dealing with for years. I do my own tips, so it's no big deal. If you didn't have much experience on how to install tips yourself, (especially Triangles) it'd be a different story.
