Tried racking with 9 on the spot

I installed my perma-rack on my home bar table and it’s very close to perfect but it’s a tad bit off and I don’t make the wing anywhere near as much as with a magic rack. Mind you all the balls are frozen and I have a tight rack everytime. Sometimes I’ll make a ball or two and maybe 3. Sometimes I get a dry break but I like the consistency of the break and it’s not a free “trick” shot with the wing ball going in almost everytime

BTW, I also play a game I call 9 ball 8 ball on the Valley. Four stripes, four solids and the eight on the spot. Helps with the clusters, moves fast too. The geezers like it.

Short rack 8-ball is the best!! Fast and furious like nine ball but with 8 ball planning for run outs. My kids are just starting out so this is the game they play and they love it 😊
