Going to the states for a few days at the end of the month, and would like to play in this tour event. (Tristate Tour - June 1st. Castle Billiards, NJ)

I saw their website and it´s stated that I have to fill a form and pay a fee to become a member. The problem is that I don´t know my skill level (I think I´m a C player, maybe a D+) in my country we don´t have leagues or instructors to rate my level.

Does anyone knows how I´d rate myself?
Does anyone knows how much is the entry fee for the event?
Can it be paypaled or I´d have to pay in person?
Does any tristate tour director/related posts in here?

Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I can tell you how to rate yourself but I don't think it will do much good. Honestly, I highly doubt you'll be able to play in the event because you don't have anyone that can verify your speed and they will more than likely turn you away or make you play as an A+. There are people who try to come in super low and just rob the tournament and they're only protecting the regulars.

There is an open/pro event June 2nd at Raxx in Long Island (not far from Castle Billiards) and you will be able to play in that. http://www.predatorproamtour.com/

If you have time, check out the Wednesday night tournament at Steinway Billiards. There is no game handicap if you want to test yourself against some of the best in the locals, like Earl Strickland.
