trouble seeing the tip with the bridge

Due to age when I have to use the bridge and the tip is 8 feet away I cant judge where it's at and hit the shot too soft or hard.
I'm thinking about a small red dot on the white ferrule and just rotating the dot up to see it when needed.
Any other ideas?

I've heard good things about the clear bridges, they are supposed to make it easier to judge where you're at with the tip. I'm not sure if that helps but it's a thought.

lasik or cataract surgery might be in order. both do wonders and may be paid by medicare. lasik may not

glasses work well also for distance problems. almost all eye issues nowadays can be dealt with.

Set the tip down BESIDE the cue ball….then just pull it back a bit to set up...
…..a tip from the old time snooker players using the long bridge.

Play better position....Just kidding

I would get a clear bridge and try the red dot thing as long as the dot don't mess you up on other shots.

Eye texts should be done at least every 2 years. Surprisingly, it's common for people to have the same pair of glasses for 5 years or more.
