trouble with tip (Talisman) seperating

has anyone else had a problem with talisman starting to make a click noise
to find a layer or two is delaminated coming apart - I had pros and wb do
this even sent e-mail Tony Jones (owner) to complain he sent several new
tips with a black coating in the edges seam to work good lasted bout 2 months love the way it plays - I install moori or sniper can get almost a year . Whats up with this.

EVEREST TIP FROM TIGER MAKE A GOOD ONE.
DID YOU MAYBE CLEAN YOUR SHAFT WITH SOMTHING THAT WOULD BREAK THE GULE APART. i HAD A PROBLEM A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN I WOULD CLEAN THE SHAFT AND GET THE CLEANER ON THE TIP.
 
I clean alot of shafts its the onlt tip Ive had this problem with .

and yes sniper is a nice tip the newer one seam to get hard when played
with for a while.

moori or kamui

I always stick with moori or kamui tips. I tried these new ones called black heart, and every time I put it on and start to put a radius on it layers come off. I'll never suggest those unless you want to waste money.
 
i have been shhoting with talisman tips for about 5 years now religiously. and yes i have had 2 tips delaminate on me it has never been a big deal other than i had to shape them again it normally happens when they are new. And i like about a half tip anyway, but also my tip normally lasts me about a year or more even with the two delaminated tips. I have been thinking about looking for a new tip but im not sure what i want especally when i like what i have been shooting with. good luck with your search.

Give porper wild boar tips a go, compares to morri but le$$.

I use Talisman H tips. About half(!) of mine do this, I'm on the last one out of the ten i bought last time. The good news is twofold: the other ones last about 18 months, and I got them for $6 apiece.

Overall, it's been worth it for me, but if I were paying $20+ installed, I'd be thinking differently...

You would probably get more answers if you posted in the "Main" forum" or "Ask the Cue Maker" forum as opposed to the "Wanted/For Sale" forum".
