At the 2005 UPA Finals Championship Tour at the Bicycle in Los Angeles in January, there is a 9 foot practice table outside the tournament room. My booth space was right next to it. And every once in a while, I would see a pro came out with Troy. Troy would show that player his cue, and he would start hitting some balls with Troy's cue, said something to him and they would laugh. All the big name guys like Corey Duel, Charlie William, Tony Robles, Hillbilly, etc... It got to a point that practically every player there had tried to hit with Troy's cue. Curiousity got in, and one time, I got out there to see what is going on. As it turned out, Troy was showing them his new personal playing cue, and it was......an old, beat up Cuetec.

Good luck in Atlanta, Troy.

Michael,
Very funny story. Thank you for sharing.
Also, best wishes to your business.
Take care,
Richard

That beat up old cuetec cue was the one he used to win the 9-ball division at the Derby City Classic a few years ago. He still uses it once in a while.

The funniest part was seeing all those other players trying out his cue, saying whatever they said to him, and they would laugh. I thought it was really good sport on Troy's part.

The last 3 Major tournamants (Turning Stone, US Open, Atlanta Open) Troy has been using his new Mike Gulyassy Custom Cues w/ "X" Laminated Shafts by Tiger. Troy is currently sponsored by them and has been performing rather well I might say!

Also, Troy got married at the begining of Sept
