Trudeau,usefull or not??

I want to reitterate the fact that when KTs "business venture" (the IPT) went south and demised, he didnt come right out and say "hey I will get you guys paid in full in installments..." The payments didnt start until his face was plastered all over the pool industry and he was catching alot of heat from everyone...then he decided to make these payments. Dont get me wrong....I am glad the players are getting their EARNINGS, but someone that is trying to do the right thing will do so before he is backed into a corner. Once someone who is backed into a corner decides to do something...then it becomes a last resort. There is not one single "business venture" that KT has been involved in that didnt end up him screwing someone over.....There is a big difference between being a shrude business man and a scheister.

I do not understand how people even consider dealing with this con man. He is a liar who makes money off of the overly trusting, overly hopeful, overly desperate, and overly ignorant. His stench is foul and pervasive. If you trust this man, you are making a mistake!
Then again, what do I know. Maybe he's a nice guy who really wants to help pool. I have an idea: why don't we subject him to that loyalty test they used in Team America just to be sure? I'd feel better if he passed that test.
From all of your posts speaks an underlying wish to have pool up there as a professional sport in the eyes of the general society with all the respect that it deserves. Maybe even looking at Asia with envy. (seeing some tournaments being held in malls with the enthusiasm of the audience, men woman and children, in attendance)
It is / would be great if a person invests his money (always with a bit of self-interest) into the sport trying to make it available for the 'mainstream',
inspiring the youth to continue the evolution of pool.
Now, on the other hand: having one person investing in pool with his kind of reputation should be frowned upon.
But it should only be limited to investing anyway.
When you think (as an investor) it would be 'a nice touch' to line up a couple of the most respectable and likeable guys in professional pool (Efren and Rodney) face to face staring eachother down like it were a friggin' boxing-match while being read the rules of the game; it clearly shows your disrespect for the sport and certainly not the image every poolplayer would want to be associated with.
I don't think it should be a strict as snooker in the UK. But it's a form of art and it should be presented as such.
Self-respect over big bucks.
