TRUE Sneaky Pete. No Finish. No Collar by Jim Sickles

This cue is a true "player" to me. Something I can just bring in, put together, play with, leave. I don't care if it dings much as long as playability isn't compromised.

X-man,
Just a point for those that are unaware. There is a prominent local pro that believes there are few cuemakers that produce a cue with that special "hit quality". Rick Howard and Jim Sickles are the only 2 he mentioned. Just a note to all of the "Special Hit" Gurus out there.

Thanks Willie, I'm actually going to have Jim Sickles do my work from here on out and Jim I've already directed some other potential buyers your way.

You truly are a great cuemaker. Thanks!

Willie - The prominent local pro should know for sure... Actually he has helped me in developing my "Hit" of a cue, and does not even know he did it. Love doing their work, because they really understand how a cue should hit. Thanks Willie

Do you make those with a finish also? Maybe a satiny version that isn't as shiny as what is put on most cues? I love the hit of wood to wood sneakies and am thinking about trying one of yours out because the price is fair and the work looks good:) Just not crazy about having no finish on there at all...

Yeah, I can do a satin finish for the same price. Call me if you are interested, the number is on my website. Thanks Jim

This cue hits monster. Period. I've had so many guys want to pick it up from me.

Blah, not selling! :D

Jim Sickles really makes a bang up hitting cue.

BTW. It's getting dirtier and dirtier the more I play with it.

I'll take some more pictures tomorrow or something and let you guys see how much more stealthy it's getting.

Congrats on the great looking cue there. I'm waiting for my cue to be done from Jim. I can't wait........:D

I had a sneaky pete cue from ZimsRack and he had done the finish on the butt of the cue with a Epoxy mix finish which gave it more of a dark house cue look.

The cue played nice and had a good stiff hit, but the shaft totally gave away that you was using a house cue, unless someone just didnt notice. The shaft did get dirty but it wasnt anything like a house cue.

I will say the cue was nice to play with, had a good balance and excellent hit. too bad i ended up selling the cue a few days ago.

Great looking cue, and I bet it does play well. The best true sneaky I ever owned looked identical on the outside but had a McD pin no finish and was made by John Guffey. Man do I wish I still had that one. Great cue, good luck to you and the builder.

Hanky

More money won with it last night. They knew it was my own cue because I brought my case with it, who cares. The thing hits *monster*

Long story behind the money games though.

Why lie to this forum, Ford?

I used to know you back when you lived in Dallas. You would never play for anything because you were paranoid that you were getting 'hustled,' yet you pranced around with your little 'predator' cloth/towel and chalk sticking out of your back pocket and talked non-stop like you 'knew' the game. I saw you get upset beyond reason after losing $5 and storming off to the bar (we thought you wouldn't pay up... ) Yes, FIVE dollars.

'literally hydroplaned in the pocket'

It's funny how you write these posts suggesting that you, in fact, gamble.. but wait! You DO gamble. I remember when you played $1/rack with a guy at Halwey's and quit after losing the first 2 racks because he was 'hustling' you. To refresh your memory; this was shortly prior to you being banned from the place when some of your derogatory posts (from this very forum) were brought to the manager's attention.

Stay in Houston, we have enough loudmouths.

As luck would have it, I'm actually planning on coming up this weekend. So if you'd like to play for something, I'm all ears.

I realize that you are trying to save face on 'tha intarn3t.' However, I would love for this to actuall go down. Please pm me with the details; when, where, etc..

Think of it as roleplaying, you can be the 'road player' and I'll be 'the guy who takes your money.'

I hope you got a lot better, or we won't be playing long.

I'll admit I wasn't the strongest player, as such was quite a nit, and was still a bit wet behind the ears, but I've grown up a bit. Maybe it's time for you to do the same.

Just my take on it.

Unfortunate that you never called me to play...oh well. I thought we were going to match up and what not?
