Truman Hogue has passed

Truman was a staple at the old Bank Shot that used to be down on Preston there in Louisville. He was always out at Bryan Roberts place, Rack 66. I always jokingly gave him hell and he always returned it with a laugh and a smile. He had a story if you had the time to listen. I nicknamed him the penguin because his laugh reminded me of the original penguin from the Batman TV series. RIP.

Sadly, yes. March of 2017. https://www.onepocket.org/hof/inductees/onepocket/jimmy-fusco/

AzBilliards thread: Billy Incardona, who used to post on AzBilliards, is the last member in the Road Scholars photo who's still alive. He had some nice words to say: https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/rip-jimmy-fusco.449638/page-2

Seem to remember hearing concrete work. Not sure if that is correct.
I think that's probably true. I met him like decades ago when he came into the bowling alley I used to play pool in. He was all dirty and had work clothes on and had been working on a job across the street.

He came back into the pool room and this was around noon and said he would be back a little while later if somebody wanted to play and of course I wanted to play. I was the best player there.

Later on that night we played for a few hours playing 9 ball he beat me out of about $40, which was actually quite a bit way back then. Here Is a funny part later on that night I head down to North Miami to the Congress billiards.

If anybody here is familiar with the old Congress that was the action place to go. You might see anybody there playing. Thousands of dollars would change hands in the Congress on any given night.

Sure enough there he was, not playing just socializing because he knows everybody there and they know him that's when I found out who he was. He came right over when he saw me and we started talking. He wasn't looking to try and get me to play more or beat me out of my money just a nice guy.

I had a feeling the work clothes wasn't just a roose, he really was at work.
