I actually made quite a few of these shots under the curtain with no problem when I was with Stan. We just moved today - I will be getting a curtain and I will post a video for sure.

All this is intended to show is how powerful the perceptions and visuals are with Pro One/CTE.

My table is being worked on in the next room - they had to come back and address some issues…back playing real soon.

I don't know if I could do this or not -probably not, but I will never go through the effort of constructing the curtains, buying a camera, etc. unless I have something to sell. I don't get enough time to practice as it is and I have my own $100 bill if I feel the need to stare at one. I'm impressed with Stan's abilities and hope he helps everyone who needs it.

I understand james but i posted links to a demonstration. Stan never mentioned his website or asked anyone to buy anything.

And yes some people are anti aiming unfortunately. Now they have truly gotten what they wanted in these videos and they still try to knock..

I agree. If I were you I would definitely not want any video shown to the general population of AZB that shows a man making more balls without being able to see the pocket than you can make with nothing blocking your vision.

I will pay you $25 if you can make ten banks in a row on video EVER with nothing blocking the pocket.

I will give you an extra $10 if two of them are a three rail and a two railer to the side like Stan did it.

Stan-let me get this right.

You filmed making all these shots, (especially the banks..and the 3 rail to the side)with a curtain between the OB and the pocket, or between OB and rail, for the banks.

And then....because you didn't want to get in dutch with the FCC for not paying royalties to songwriters, you re-shot these videos....with the interfering curtain---AGAIN?

Great shooting. Mighty fine music too-that I didn't hear...;)

Maybe you are too honest....but you can work on that if needed. Please remain so, to keep the the general honesty average from falling further.:grin-square:

This is not some fluke that he did just for advertising purposes. Hal Houle used to hold up blockers so that the student could not see the pocket and tell them to shoot and the ball would go in.

A group of us did this in 2003 at the SBE where we held up a cloth over half the table and demonstrated pocketing without seeing the pockets.

Stan is right now in my opinion the most highly skilled practitioner of the CTE method using his refinements that make it and the practiced user very very accurate.

Lou F. as ususal dismisses this as a "trick shot" and equates it to the old lay the hankerchief over the dead cluster shot. It's really sad that Lou is so mean-spirited and dishonest as to go to that length to discredit the very proof he and others have said couldn't be done.

The fact is that Stan has been doing these demonstrations and watched his students doing these demonstrations at his house for a long time before he made the videos.

You got it! Actually, I decided that if I were going to have to pull them at some point, better to do it now while the views were relatively low.

I redid 3 of them and I am proud to say it was done in quick order:)

The Curtain: Part 3 Banks targeting the 2 sides is up now. The Curtain Part 2 for 15 length-wise shots is uploading now. The other should be up by noon tomorrow.

Stan are you thinking about a short video on geometry of the system leading into the dvd's release to help these guys understand it a bit easier and how these curtain videos relate to it?

If I were to do a lead, as you describe, it would be about at the time of DVD2 release. I am looking forward to putting all that I have come to understand on the table.

No because unlike lou you know how to accurately use aiming systems. But you can pick up an extra hundred duplicating stan's vids.

John I have know doubt I could do it...but i feel it wouldnt be honest.
Thats not me.No human can pull off a feat such as this.(unless your Stan)This is just my opinion again, Im from Missouri you understand me?;)
