Trying a new tip

ive been playing 10ball no slop on my bar table alot recently its much more difficult than i originally knew .

Yeah it takes out doubles banks and slop balls when you miss.
It also changes how you play safe.

We got some rubber type tips in 87 I’d guess. They were horrible. Just horrible.

After then first 30-60 minutes they got smooth. Used a Emory board to scuff them-tip tapper was too dull. After a couple times they got hard and shiny. Garbage. Nice idea but no plan.

The fibers in leather are what makes it work. Synthetic material is usually a homogeneous material and doesn’t work. If there was some way of using a resin with a fabric then maybe???? $159 tips lol.

Of it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Leather layered or or not is just fine. A few billion balls have been hit with leather. I’m ok with that

I may be the last person on Earth that still plays a Lepro. My alternate shaft has a triangle that I am about to replace with a G2 Medium. The Triangle has been great but is a little hard. I like the analogy of a ball and bat sound, but it really plays well for stop, follow and draw. Sound aside, it always held chalk and worked fine. Anyone here played the G2?

That's all I shoot with. They're great. Good feedback and they don't mushroom or glaze over like some others I've used in the past. But I still scuff them before each night I play. Also I've heard there are counterfeit issues with them now so make sure to get them from a reputable source.

Yes I did but the guy I beat says he wants to get his $70 back next Saturday.
I don't think he knows that I play better then him.
Or maybe he does and just wants the challenge.
We have played about 10 times and hes never won.
We played last week 10 ball all slop and I won.
This last time he said call every ball,I still won.
I didn't understand why he wanted to change the rules.
It's all the same except call shot does change the safety strategy and the fact that when possible I rode the ten with the 1 thru 3 ball.

How about hemp fibers? Hemp is good for everything!
