Trying to determine the value of my Meucci Originals Cue So I Can Sell It.

I bought this stick used a long time ago. I'm selling my pool table and cues. This is the only Meucci I have left. Cue is in very good shape and the only flaws I could find are shown in the pictures. Unfortunately I don't know the value of the cue. If I can get some input on the real world value I'll be happy to add a for sale price. It's straight and I'm guessing 19oz?

Jim Martin, Howdy;

All I can do is share this link;
And if you see it you can ask the folks there at Budget Billiards.
The owner is Bob M's daughter Julia.

If you don't see it in any of the posters send her some of the photos
and she may have some knowledge about it or could ask her Dad, who is
kinda phone shy, for some reason.chuckle.

~1988 Star of David

$800-1000

Maybe…

When I search 1988 Star of David it comes up as the DH3 which this stick is not.
The 95-23 is a re-release of the Star cue, but with colors switched and the script "Meucci" logo. It is a nice Meucci cue, but it is NOT a Star of David", and is no way close in value. https://www.budgetcues.com/collections/meucci-archive/products/meucci-95-series-17-32
Your cue is also DH3 with your cue being an original and the 1988 picture just being a Meucci.
This is your cue in the link below.
I think someone make a mistake on the 1988 picture, that is a 95-23.

I contacted one the biggest collectors on the Meucci FB page. He said this cue is worth 800-900 if it was refinished. As is he put the price at 6-700. I relayed this to the OP. Its known as the Star of David as stated above and it is an older one. It needs some tlc to make it worth full value. Even then you're going to need a diehard Meucci fan to pay that for one.

Sweet cue. I had one of those back in the day and I loved that cue but it was unlucky. I lent it to a friend to play a set and he got mad and broke it when he hung a 9. It was so out of character for the guy that I actually blame the cue. Lol

I like that. I hang the 9 often enough that next time, I am breaking someone else's cue!

Nice cue, I always liked the older Meucci cues. I know that others have put higher prices on it, but in the condition it’s in I think $400 to $500 would be closer to reality (for me anyway).

I’m not a Meucci collector and l’m sure there is someone taking a trip down memory lane that needs that particular cue!

You’ll find it goes easier if they’re a really good friend and you’re reaching for your wallet moments after you do it. Might not end so well otherwise, but you never know until you try.

I'm not super up on Meucci values, but I think their reach is really small now. That cue was probably worth more in 1990 than today, IMO.
