Trying to find the cue pictured below - my Dad bought me one years ago (1993, 1994 maybe?) before he passed and for sentimental reasons, I'd like to try and find another to keep in the collection.

I look on Ebay consistently and have posted in the WTB here a few months ago, but haven't had any luck to date. If you have one someplace or know of someone who does and would be willing to part with it at a reasonable price (I don't mind paying a little above market if needed) please PM me anytime. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

try posting the price you are willing to pay. otherwise you only get people looking to sell.
and so few will have this cue.

Am I reading this wrong or...? People looking to sell is exactly what he is looking for, so this statement doesn't seem to make sense.

That aside, if there is a good reason for him to be posting the price he is willing to pay on a cue whose condition he hasn't seen yet, and nobody has given one if there is, but if there is a good reason for him to do that he already covered that pretty perfectly when he said "I don't mind paying a little above market if needed".

He's looking for a specific cue. Willing to perhaps pay a little more.

It seems straight forward.

Honestly if I had bought the one I saw I would sell it to him at cost because of the back story.

Seems pretty straight forward to me as well. Original poster makes a post looking for someone who is willing to sell him this specific cue. Second guy says OP should post what he is willing to pay, otherwise he will just get people looking to sell. Which is exactly what OP wanted, somebody willing to sell this cue, so that statement just seems completely out of place and confusing, so much so that I wondered if I was somehow misreading it. Then second guy goes on to say OP should have also said what he was willing to pay, which OP had already done. Is this like opposite day or something? Am I in the twilight zone?

Do you really need to ask?

you are not very bright so i will help you a little.

there are people that may have that cue that are not thinking of selling it. saying you will pay a little over market does not entice them to sell.

and they may not have any idea of what it is worth or never even thought about it. but seeing around what they may get, could get them to come forward.

no harm in giving them an idea of that.

You can't even write at a third grade level, and I'm the one that is not very bright? Well at least you have being funny going for you.

Your premise isn't particularly bright either. It's hard to make offers on imaginary cues whose exact issues and condition you don't know. I also doubt we are talking the kind of money that is going to entice someone to contact him that wouldn't have contacted him anyway.

Next time post in English so you can make sense. There's my helping you out for the day.
