Tubes and Protection

I have a customer who had a case that is not padded inside and which allows the cues to move easily.

The case was 2300 the cues inside were around 4500.

I try and keep $25,000 worth of wood in a $99 case, better ratio.....:p

Actually I need/want a new case. I'm using a Porper I've owned for just over 20 years-i started using it about 2 years ago after it had a 4 years rest, It getting real tired now. It does protect the cues well, now that I can carry on my cue I want new case. the Porper looks like a old POS so its kinda off the radar, it dont look like its worth the risk to steal, where a nice fancy tooled leather case might tempt someone(I have had a laptop get piched by the TSA in Baltimore a couple years ago) thats when I busted out the ugly case again.

Edit:

Joe Porper – Joe invented the closed-cell foam cored case and has
consistently produced one of the finest, most durable and protective
(not to mention affordable) cases ever made. IMO, world class stuff.

^^^^ this is the case i'm using(3x6), its to short with J/p's on the butt the cue could get the worst of it, cause the case is just a hair too short. mine is so old the (not sure of the word) vinyl rotted and I got black dust over everything in the pouches for about a year it finally stopped and now the case looks more like leather, the zipper is been a problem since day one, i have had 100's of cues in it, back when i used to flip cues that case was the best. by todays standards its a joke. I'll always keep t tho, man i put miles on it. It in Europe now doing just fine.
