This DCC served up southern style, now I know that Accu-stats.com is streaming the 9 ball banks, 1 hole, and 9 ball tournies, but InsidePool.com has a free stream going of 10 ball. Is the 10 ball an ongoing tournament this week, or are these action matches being streamed?

No fatboy tourney there. Semis and finals of the 10 ft will be ppv Friday night in accustats arena is the word I heard

wait a min, this must be the Fatboy, no???

It's an invitational, 16-player, single-elimination 10-ball event, the equivalent of the DCC's Fatboy Challenge -- but without that name (perhaps Fatboy did not contribute to this or just didn't want his name on it; I don't know). I think they are calling it something like the "Diamond 10-Foot 10-Ball Challenge."

According to Jay Helfert, the director of the event, the plan was to have 4 matches on each of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights, with some of those streamed by Inside Pool. Then the two semi-final matches and the final match would be Friday, streamed by Accu-Stats (after they swap their 9-footer for a 10-footer).

This is correct. Friday is THE day to watch on accu-stats.com. We will start at about 2 PM EST and show all three final matches (semis and finals). Ten Ball is a great game on the massive 10' tables! The crowd loves it! This could be the game that bridges the gap between pool and snooker and brings us into the mainstream!

Yes, I like these tables. It certainly challenges the pros.

However, there needs to be a shot clock for this tournament. I understand that the tables are tough, but Moore and Archer were almost unwatchable at the end of their match last night. That was awful. :(

Yeah. There definitely needs to be a shot clock. Not a 20 second one, but definitely something.

No I didnt get involved, Greg asked me but I declined. I lost over a million on a internet biz and just couldnt swing it. :(

With Greg's permission I'd still like to do the Fatboy event as I have the past few years at the Derby.

I really felt bad about not being able to be participation, but man I just took one hell of a hit, on top of the other hits the past few years. Greg(Diamond Pool tables) put this event together 100% as far as I know and he gets all the credit. I do hope he does let me keep the annual "Fatboy Challenge" going.
