I have a freind that wants me to turn a shaft down from a 13mm to a 11.75mm for snooker. I usually just turn the ferrule down to size and then sand the shaft down to match the ferrrule. My question is am I going to have any trouble after I sand that much shaft away with the shaft warping. I would be taking more off when sanding this down than when I take a pass on my lathe turning shafts for my cues. I am afraid to take a pass with my router because it has a slight wobble. I am also wondering if that wobble can affect the sanding of the shaft.
Thanks for the input.
