This has been a great last couple of months for pool lovers. And now we get one last treat before 2010. Turning Stone XVI in Verona NY Dec 17-20.

I will be attending my first live professional event. I will be there with Nathan Dumoulin of www.runoutmedia.com. We will be there all day Saturday and Sunday we look forward to meeting some new people.

Just wondering where everybody will be staying...... I have found rooms available for $43.99 per night with the AZ discount at Red Roof Inn in Utica NY (about 30min drive) wondering if anyone else is planning on staying there..........

Also there will be a live stream all week Ran by Jerry Forsyth and sponsored by Simonis.

You're going to have a blast. If this is your first pro event, you picked a good one. There's not a bad seat in the house, and best of all, it's free to all spectators.

Some good pros will be in attendance. Be sure to report back and let us know how you enjoyed it! :)

I have stayed there. Watch out for their keys. Every time i stayed there, my key would crap out. "Sir were you keeping your keys near your phone or credit cards?" "why of course not, I have an 8 foot pole just for these situations-I keep my key at its end-see it way up there".

Thanks for the heads up..........also I will be reporting on our adventures on Monday. Can't wait.........awesome field....should be a blast

Whatever you do, DO NOT TOUCH anything in the refrigerator in your room. Even if you do not consume the item, you could be charged for it.

The items are motion-detector sensitive.

I just ask the hotel staff to remove everything from the refrigerator at the beginning. I really don't want to pay $5 for 20 potato chips or $4 for a 6-ounce Coca-Cola.

A week in the snow...

If there was a tournament I wished to make its this one. I knew I had 5 star digs at the Oldzilla compound and probably would bit Hatch for a meal. Man, bad time off planning on my part...sigh :frown:

Microotel Inn

Check that..........looks like we are staying at the Microtel Inn Across from the Casino.

Anyone Else staying there or have stayed there??

I stayed there. If you are a light sleeper make sure you get a room away from the elevator. It has a real loud 'ding' whenever it stops.

One other thing, and it could be a coinkydink, but the credit card i used there (first use in over a year for that card) started getting charged for jewelry and some other junk a week after i checked out.

The rooms are small and clean-I recommend it.

You know i would put you up, even though i would be busy at work. Just give you an extra key, but i sold my extra car! eeek. i'm 30 miles away. But if your not coming we don't have to figure that out !
I hope i get a chance to get in the booth again. If that happens it prolly be in the afternoon cause i been working nights lately.
