Turning Stone Classic IX - $25,000 ADDED – August 16-19, 2007

my son and i will be there for the entire tourney. maybe there should be an az table?

the venue runs most of the day and into the night and all of the tables are in the event center (assuming you mean pool table) - there is a pool room close to the casino, but i have yet to determine the name to call - if anyone in the area knows, please drop a line. the one i went to a couple of years ago closed down, but have been told there is another that recently opened.

i didnt mean table. i was there in Feb so i know the venue. i meant a table in the vendors area. some central point at the venue where fellow az'ers could meet up.

thought that was the case - it may be too late in the game, but good luck if you attempt it.

I found out today, I won't be there as much as usual.
I'll be there Thursday and Friday during the day..

Not sure about Saturday , but I should be back for the finals on Sunday.

I'll know more early next week about the specifics of the set up..

perhaps we can figure something out..

Important: Alcohol at Turning Stone

alcohol.bmp

The resort, owned by the Oneida Indian Nation, has tried for six years to get a license to serve alcohol.

Until now, restaurant patrons and concertgoers could bring their own alcohol but effective immediately, the Turning Stone Resort and Casino has banned all alcoholic beverages on its property.

Just a quick update from "The Stone"

The set up is nearly complete ...There may be some tables set up where the AZ forum crowd could hang out...I'll know for sure by the end of the day..

Congrats to Mike Zuglan for putting on another spectacular event. I hope everyone that was able to attend had a good time. I made it up on Sunday, and even though I was stuck on 81S in Syracuse for 3 hours trying to get home it was a great day!

It was nice to meet you Bruce.

Craig

Craig...I didn't get there until just before the final match..As I had a sound engagement..

I thought everything went well..

Sorry to hear about your dealy..there was a bad accident on 81..

I left around 3 pm to get a move on to Maryland, only to get stuck at the NY/PA line forever too. you should have waved :p but i agree, the event was great - the match-ups were fantastic this go round.

Louis Ulrich

I would like to congratulate Louis on his 2nd place finish. Looks like he beat some really strong players to make it to the hot seat. Better luck next time my friend.
