Mike Zuglan's Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour is proud to announce the $25,000 added Turning Stone Classic XIII 9-Ball Open.

The tournament will take place on Thursday, August 20th thru Sunday, August 23rd, 2009 in the beautiful and spacious Event Center at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY .

The format will be race to 9, double elimination (finals one race to 13) and will be played on Diamond Smart Tables with Simonis Cloth.

The entry fee for this event will be $150 to any current 2008-2009 tour member and $200 to all others.

This $25,000 added event will surely fill fast, is limited to the first 128 paid entries and requires a pre-entry so you MUST contact Mike Zuglan immediately as he has already begun to accept entries and the tournament is nearly full.

Remember, the previous twelve Turning Stone events were filled to capacity with many players being "shut out" so enter now!

The Turning Stone is a non-alcohol serving casino which means you only need to be 18 to gamble on the casino floor. All ages are welcome in the Event Center and spectator admission is FREE.

Fairfield Inn by Marriott and the Recovery Room Sports Grill are neighbors on Willow Place off of Route 365 in Verona. The hotel’s general manager, Tommy Bate,s said that Fairfield Inn has been successful since it opened in early March.


The hotel’s neighbor, The Recovery Room Sports Grill, is owned by BBL Construction, the same Albany-based company that owns Fairfield Inn. The Recovery Room opened officially on Monday to large crowds, Assistant General Manager Jill McAllister said.

“We were mobbed,” she said, something that isn’t always the norm for a Monday evening. Even better is how smoothly it went. “We did not hit any bumps in the road,”

Turning Stone

I have attended this tournament many times in the past but this is my first time entering. I couldn't sit in the stands again. It's to good of a tournament to pass up. Hopefully soon the players list will be out to see what top pros as well as the local players who have entered.
