Filipino pool legend Jose Parica has joined the list of confirmed players competing in the upcoming Turning Stone Classic XIII event.., Jose placed 3rd at the Turning Stone Classic VIII event.., This Philippine Hall of Famer, dubbed "The Leader of the Philippine Invasion," which changed the face of the American 9-ball forever, is one of the greatest ever to play the game, especially for the cold hard cash.., Jose Parica is a former World Player of the Year and was the first player to shoot a perfect game of 1,000 points, which was a World Record in 9-Ball race to 11 format.., With a list of career accomplishments too numerous to mention, no one will argue that Jose Parica is still a world-class talent and a threat to win any event he enters.., For more information on this event contact Mike Zuglan at (518) 356-7163 or email mzjosstour@aol.com .

Joss Tour Announces Custom Cue Giveaways
Everyone,
The complete 2009-2010 Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour season schedule has been released at http://www.joss9balltour.com/schedule.asp .
It consists of 18 billiard parlor events and two $25,000 added Turning Stone Casino events. I personally would like to thank ALL of our hosts for the opportunity to be able to compete at their great facilities.
This will be our 13th season of continuous operation. The Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour has hosted hundreds of tournaments including 20 Major industry events. This season we will only add to those already impressive totals. Our generous sponsors continue to donate their quality products even in this toughest of times. A list of our "cream of the crop" sponsors with links to their sites can be found under the sponsors tab. Our title sponsor, Dan Janes of Joss Cues LTD, continues to impress everyone with the fine custom, engraved, collectible cues he donates to each stop on the tour. So far, I estimate that Dan has donated approximately 300 cues since the tour began. That is approximately $300,000 worth of merchandise. Thanks Dan and Thank You to ALL of our loyal and generous sponsors!
This season, I am trying something new. It seems that I have accumulated quite a few custom sponsorship cues. These cues are from Barry Cameron Custom Cues, Mike Webb Custom Cues and Zinzola Custom Cues. I have decided to do the following: I have given host room owners the opportunity to purchase one of these fine cues from me, with the money to be used to give away a paid entry and 3 nights hotel accommodation at the next Turning Stone event following their event. Only players that finish out of the money at that event and have never won a Joss event will be eligible. This prize is not transferable and must be used by the winner or it will be given to an alternate player. There are already four of these events scheduled for this season. They are Stop #1 at TJ's, #6 at Raxx, #15 at Raxx & #18 at Snookers. I still have more cues for sale, to interested parties, to add more of these events. All of the proceeds will go toward adding more of these prize packages. Please spread the word or contact me if interested in purchasing one of these fine cues.

The Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour is thrilled to announce that the Turning Stone Casino has signed on for TWO more $25,000 Added events as part of our 2009/2010 season!
There will be a slight change in the usual dates as the February event will be moved to DECEMBER 17-20, 2009 and the August tour finale will take place on August 19-22, 2010.
Both of these events will once again be BCA "ranking events" with points awarded to all American players.
All of our Turning Stone events are FREE of charge for spectators and every seat offers a great view of the action! I urge you to come see for yourself!
For those of you that can't come, you will be able to watch some of the matches streamed live on www.AzBilliards.com . This service is provided by AzBilliards, Simonis Cloth, Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour and Turning Stone Casino. They deserve thanks from all of us!

Ahhh, a new face...
Any players flying into Syracuse Hancock Airport for this event need a ride to Turning Stone Casino? Its about 40 minutes from the airport, cab fare comes out to about $140. No need to spend that much for a ride, I can pick you up if you give me at least a days notice.
