Mike Zuglan's Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour is proud to announce the $25,000 added Turning Stone Classic XVIII 9-Ball Open.

This event will take place on Thursday, December 15th thru Sunday, December 18th, 2011 in the beautiful and spacious Event Center at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY .

The format will be race to 9, double elimination (finals one race to 13) and will be played on Diamond Smart Tables with Simonis Cloth.

The entry fee for this event will be $150 to any current 2011-2012 tour member and $200 to all others.

This $25,000 added event is limited to the first 128 paid entries, requires a pre-entry, and the previous seventeen Turning Stone events were filled to capacity with many players being shut out!

All ages are welcome in the Event Center at Turning Stone, spectator admission is FREE and you only need to be 18 to gamble on the casino floor.

I had a great time last December playing in this tournament. Awesome venue, well run tournament, perfect for spectators.

If there are spots available when I get back from vacation, I expect to sign up a few of us and make the trip again.

I could be wrong, but I thought the Zuglan rule was the players decide, rack your own or rack for each other.
The Magic Rack is a uniform rack..or is it too perfect ? Not a bad idea as it removes any questions about rack..But, that's the call of the Tournament Director.
 
Havent paid my entry yet but you can count on me being there!!! Funny but I went to check to see if this Tournament had been posted yet and it was at the top of the list :lol:

I wanted to talk to Mike about maybe using the Rack Tight or Slug Doctor system but its his event. I would like to see it tbh.. I had to rack my own in my last match but so what.... What a awesome event and its worth ever penny :thumbup:

Any updates on confirmed players?? I know last year's thread had loads of confirmations.. Is it full yet???
 
I wonder how the weather will hold up this year. I heard several players werent able to make it last year due the weather around the area. It was somewhere around 40+ inches of snow the weekend before the tournament.

Once again, this event will take place in Turning Stone's beautiful & spacious Event Center which is arguably one of the best venues ever. There are NO bad seats, and the layout allows you to mingle with all of your favorite players and friends, giving you the feeling of being part of the action yourself. This great event will once again feature a full field of 128 of some of the worlds best players. The entire Mosconi Cup Team USA will be in attendance! We will also be raffling off 2 gorgeous, custom, engraved Joss Cues on Saturday at 8pm and Sunday immediately prior to the final match and you Do Not have to be present to win.
