Adam has beaten Shawn before at least once. I watched him beat Shawn (7-4 IIRC) in a Viking stop in Cincy about 2 years ago..

I had never heard of Adam before that. I was quite impressed with his play. Seemed like a nice kid too.

I would not rule out Raj until the last 9 ball drops. This guy is known to come back from behind running mutliple racks from a desperate situation to win the match. Raj plays with lots of heart.

Too much coffee today, I'm coming up 6.0 on the weirdness richter scale. Anyone want to make a friendly (non-monetary) wager on the tournement winner? I'll take Mika and wager the following: my book "Cornbread Red" by Bob Henning against "Green Felt Jungle" by Gerald Huber; OR one of my ACCU-STAT 1-pocket VHS videos against one of yours. No past-posting allowed, so bets have to be finalized before tomorrow's matches. Sorry for the last minute madness, but it's Saturday night in Florida and I'm sitting here like a lump with too much time on my hands, too much caffeine in my old body, and I just wanted to execute a nickel-slick bump.

Got up late...it's now 11.53 eastern, don't know status of matches, maybe Mika's out for all I know, don't care, I'll still take Mika (why start winning bets now and ruin my image?). If Mika wins, I win if I haven't inadvertently past-posted, if the 'Quake wins, you got me, past-posting or not, just because you answered my ad, you're a Floridian and you seem like a good guy. Anyway, good luck Gerry...though I'm betting on Mika, I hope Keith takes it down. Jeff.
 
Just want to say good luck to Jon Smith and George SanSouci... they're both having great tournaments and are in the final 8.
