Turning stone up dates ?

great final, getting ruined by this Danny D character
worst commentator ever heard
and for cheese an rice it is not amphibious it is ambidextrous a person that plays good with both hands
Billiard

Do a a little a little research before before you trash one of the best road players ever.

A magnificent effort on the five ball leads to Morra's runout and we're tied at 8-8.

Shaw is back into overdrive and leads 11-8, just two racks form the title.

Dry break by Shaw. Mora plays safe. Shaw scratches trying to make a good hit. Morra runs out. 11-9 Shaw.

Yup, a kicking error decided each of the last two racks, so it's 11-9 now, but it looks like Shaw will get to the hill ..... and he does. 12-9

Morra breaks - makes 3 including the 9, but he scratches. Shaw gets ball in hand and runs out. 12-9 Shaw.

He's well aware that it's ambidextrous, it's just one of his signature lines. He's the real deal and has been for decades. He also has done a lot for pool players and pool in general. What's your claim to fame?

Thanx for posting that, Rhino.....'cause I'm biased when it comes to Double D.
...we been watching each other's backs for years.

And when Danny calls a shot wrong, often it's because he assumed the player saw the
game as well as he did in his prime.
Not too many players can run a century at straight pool AND snooker.....
...and win a world title at one-pocket.

...and make Angelo Dundee proud to be his trainer

Shaw makes a ball on the break, but no shot. Pushes out. Morra gives it back. Shaw leaves Morra tough and Morra misses the one. Shaw gets a little loose, but leaves Morra tough on the 3. Morra makes a small jump shot and pockets the 3 with shape on the 4. Morra runs out. 12-10 Shaw.

Safety battle breaks out. Morra finally gets a shot on the 1 ball and runs out. 12-11 Shaw. This is getting good!

Morra makes a ball on the break, but tough on the one and tries to play safe. Shaw makes a great shot on the 1-8 combo and runs out for the title. 13-11 Shaw. Congrats and fine playing by both players!

Shaw wins it! Morra played some fantastic pool, but Jayson was just amazing.

Despite the huge elite field always found at Turning Stone, Joss Tour players have won the last three and four of the last five Turning Stone events, with Dechaine and Earl winning once each and Shaw wining twice. Only Van Boening has broken through.

Well played, Jayson Shaw.

Morra and Shaw will be two players to watch at Derby City.

I'd like to see the TPA for Morra and Jayson this event. Some awesome shooting.

My pleasure. I got to meet him in Hollywood, FL years ago through a mutual friend. He is a great man with an interesting life and a zeal for living. He's done more in his life than most of us youngers can realistically expect to in the pool world. To hear some uninformed person knock him just rubs me the wrong way.
