Doug Stanley, producer of Deadliest Catch, is attending the DCC -- showed up yesterday. I believe he's getting a feel for the pool scene as he's signed up to produce Pool, Poker & Pain.
If you guys see him there, make him feel at home. Regardless if you're a fan of the PPP concept, we're all in agreement that pool needs a boost somehow--- and this guy has the brains and execution to do it. If pool can ride of the coat tails of MMA and poker -- two massively popular tv genres, so be it.
