Here's a TW /PH im making for a local person .I like everyones input on it ( good are bad ) .Still got alot to do to finish it .Thanks ahead of time Jeff

what the hell that ph looks quilted..or is it just curly with light shining on it? either way it looks nice. the one problem i have with it is that the ph takes away from the tulipwood immensely. i can barely notice the tulipwood in the cue.
 
do you have any more Purpleharts like that.i would love to buy a piece.you are going to have finishing it.i think the reverse would show the Tulipwood more,as in Tulipwood into Purpleheart.either way it is very nice.i have been thinking about one like this myself.

Hi Masonh,
I wish I had some PH like that.This blank was made for me,I'm not able to make my blanks yet. That will come for me someday.Still learning alot and doing all my work on a wood lathe ,so im always open to hearing good and bad thing ya'll see so I can learn from all. Alot of AZer have help me and I thank them and hope to make a cue as nice as ya'll do. thanks Jeff
 
Oh no....

What the hell is that???.....Camo??? Cant really tell the 2 apart.Either I need glasses,or maybe you might need a better pic.Cant quit tell the difference between the 2 woods.Nice ringwork though...nice effort,keep trying!
