We arrived in Verona, NY at midnight, and after the 7-hour drive, I was looking forward to laying back and preparing for the week ahead. Just as we walked in the lobby with the waterfalls, Gerry Slivka and crew arrived. After checking our rooms out, we decided to give the craps table a try, a little bone with not much meat on it. 
The Exhibition Hall is located on the second level, but we couldn't see anything because the doors were locked. The hotel is booked with no vacancies.
Ryan "Genie" Man flew in by plane, but he decided to check out the nearby pool room. Ryan told us that he heard that Little John managed to get in the tournament because there was one spot which ended up being open. He will be flying in from Mississippi.
Spanish Pete and Joey K. arrived and were in fine spirits. Ronnie Wiseman was on his way to the table games, and Tommy "Shorty" D'Alphonso was last seen in the poker room. Every single table in the poker room was busy.
Well, I just wanted to see if my laptop worked on the hotel phone. Tomorrow the games will begin!
